Just sent this to my sister and brother as a P.S. to their asking for my input.

"I just found this Huffington Post article ...
and if I read nothing else, then based on just the first line (below) I say that - although the "changes in the Earth's alignment" deserves to be clarified (in regards to the time-frame of these changes) I have reasonable certainty that these changes must have been recent or at least that they could only be recently detected otherwise I am sure that we would have heard about it before now. Based on the idea that the changes are recent I am pretty certain that the astrological signs that we were born under (years ago) are virtually the same since any changes in Earth's alignment of recent years do not undo the past. However I also have seen some years ago that there is a good reason to compare our Western astrological charts with the Vedic Astrological system that says Western Astrological calculations need to be adjusted back some degrees! I now realize that this Vedic-based adjustment seems to be one that is or may be at least partially comparable to what Astronomer Parke Kunkle has presented!

As a result of looking though the Vedic perspective I recognize and identify with the Virgo Sun that is in my Vedic chart more than I do the Libra Sun in my Western chart and yet I think I still have Libra rising in the Vedic! So that part of shifting dates is generally feasible and I think worth checking out for yourself, however Vedic Astrology does not recognize 13 signs! I am not now saying that there can't be 13 signs only that whatever new findings may come from an "astronomical" perspective do not necessarily or automatically change the "astrology" of the past other than that it may possibly validate Vedic astrology. ..."

(New addition here on the blog and not sent to my family): Even if one considers the Vedic view now, there is a line of thinking that says we (who are in the Western world) start our life journey within the Western paradigm and it's astrological orientation and later as we enter the stage of life where we waken to our spiritual nature then that inner dawning can be reflected and seen through the Vedic chart! Now that we are right at the threshold of a world-wide spiritual transformation (that is either obvious to you or not) this is probably the perfect time to be offered a recalculation and a reorientation to the cosmos!

"Astronomy is not astrology! An astronomer is not an astrologer! I think at best Parke Kunkle may be able to recalculate the sun's entrance and exit through the constellations since all those calculation can be purely astronomical but I do not yet see how he or any astronomer can declare they are adding another constellation into what was (as far as I know) a complete hoop of astrological constellations! I think that saying that may be stretching things! Because Astrology addresses additional dimensions that are beyond the astronomical scope!

My closing statement on this is: It is my opinion that half of what Astronomer Parke Kunkle has said regarding a recalculation of the astrological signs is truly worth looking into and preferably with the help of Vedic astrology. The other half regarding a 13th sign needs a lot of feedback from the astrological communities, both Western and Vedic. ..."

Maybe this astrological "shifting of the signs" is simply a universal way to represent our coming transformation! In any case change is inevitable! But "change" is really putting it mildly. That is what I use the term "transformation" (the plural of which was the title of my paper published in 1981/82.)"

I know a mountain climber however she never has said anything about it opening any doors in her. I think in order to find anything one needs to be seeking. I don't know that she was seeking anything by way of mountain climbing. The again I have never climbed any mountains! However I have "contemplated" on the starry skies and it has opened doors within me! And I enjoy deep satisfaction opening "the doors to the heavens within" individuals and if not initially then wider then they were open before.
