These are suggestions from Your Enchanted Gardener, (my higher self) Leslie (That's me! )and Keep The Beet Media Star, The World's First Talking Beet Plant, for improving this already great event. We are advancing internet technology at lightening speed thanks to the Mike Koenigs, Arielle Fords, and Paul Colligans, in our world. What are the critical messages-- the content-- we want to tell the world? How can we use the internet to Co-Create, a new millennium that 1000 years from now could be known as the Enchanted Garden Era?

Thoreau, widely known for his journals
would have been one of the world's most prolific
bloggers today. His "blogs" became "Walden,"
a book dedicated to Students of LIfe.
He once commented that it was a feat
linking up England with the U.S. through the first underground
cable. This happened during his life in the 1850's.
To paraphrase him, so now that you have a way to communicate,
why content is important to communicate????
21st Century Book Marketing has married
the digital age. We can get messages out
at near the speed of light. We are connecting
the world as never before and creating
a tipping point for evolutionary shift.
What are priority issues the world needs now,
not only to Survive This Day
but thrive?

The Mike Koenigs, Arielle Fords, and Paul Colligans,
in our world have arrived. That was clear
from the buzz at overwhelmingly successful
21st Century Book Marketing event
September 25-26, 2010 at the
Hilton San Diego Bay Front. People
came from all over world. Numbers
left the overwhelming successful event
not only filled but overwhelmed.
Nicolas Ortner, the last speaker,
introduced and gave us exercises
in EFT and Meridian Tapping,to release
emotions, yet many of us still left the room
on vapors. This early morning I began to collect
my thoughts.

WHAT A TALKING BEET?
What? A talking beet?
Of course. Food talks! Are you listening?
The question now is not only to have
our food talk to us, but to remember
how to talk to our food.
Growing a beet in a pot is a beginner's way
to regain your Beet with Nature.
Food has been talking to each of us
since we were kids when we ate
too much candy at one time, got a sugar high,
and made our kindergarden teacher nuts
with our hyperactivity.
Had to go to a dentist to get our teeth
drilled for cavities? Food is talking to you!
Eat too many bagels,
cream cheese and lox, douse our selves with too many
cups of Starbucks, followed by an chocolate fudge Sunday,
followed by a piece of watermelon. Your tummy,
through food will likely talk to you.
Rather than learn from this experience,
many of us today are following
a modern trend that has been popular
increasingly for a number of decades.
We add Big Pharma
to go with our dessert, but is this truly
good for the economy or in keeping with
the beat of nature?

Right now in Washington, some would like
us to imagine that Food Safety Issues are non controversial,
yet all over the internet, a war is being waged
that is driving others and bloggers everywhere,
to alert the world that Food Safety needs to be
a conversation as vitally discussed as Health Reform.
Is it enough to attempt to apply
Archaic Codex Food Rules that favor Big Pharma,
GMO agriculture, reduce accepted nutrient health standards
down our throats? Are Food Safety laws
now being pushed through congress really as non-controversial
as most senators imagine?
Is this really the time to increase regulatory powers to
an FDA, or its upgrade versions, when the FDA and USDA
we have now, with many regulations on the books,
has shown itself, either unwilling to apply regulations
in place, or biased and wanting to support ideas
that may very well be against common sense,
and promote unsound health reform?

What about their O.K. on Aspartame,
that many say its a neuro toxin? What about the FDA

to GMO's, to helping to pave way the way for
Growth Hormones to Milk?
According to opponents of the drug, effects of rBGH were never properly studied. The FDA relied solely on one study administered by Monsanto in which rBGH was tested for 90 days on 30 rats. The study was never published, and the FDA stated the results showed no significant problems.

Having spending many hours researching the FDA, I can only agree
with Pete Kennedy of the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund,
that the "FDA’s true clients are not the American people but rather the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries."

FDA permitted the sale of antibiotics for nontherapeutic purposes in animals in CAFOs, a practice that has resulted in antibiotic resistance and the creation of difficult-to-treat infections like MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus). HARPC Requirements
The most alarming change from the prior version of S510 can be found in an amendment to section 103 of the bill-"Hazard analysis and risk-based controls" [HARPC]; this section can now be applied to farms selling or otherwise distributing any "manufactured/processed" food. The HARPC requirements are similar to the HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) plans that various sectors in the food industry are currently mandated to have.
Is this the time to turn over further regulatory powers
to Federal agents without first regulating our
regulators?
Farmers' Markets are a burgeoning multi-million
billion dollar industry now vetted by the USDA and
local agents. Do our farmers really need more red tape?
Are local farmers not regulated by their customers?
Please, at least let us
have national conversation before pushing through the likes
of Food Safety Bills such as SB-510 and SB-3767

THINGS THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW NOW
Our food supply on land and sea can be restored.
It is mandatory if we want to continue to
living here on this planet.
Shift Happened. What are we headed?
Mother Earth--the ground underfoot--
is calling us home. What is the ultimate
technology that works for this planet?
It is callled Nature's Original Technology.
The word itself, technology goes back to Greece.
Today, we associate it with something of wires
and for the energetically savvy, a world that
draws us to the computer for our livelihood and
for education, but needs a Kill Switch installed
to turn off the confusing pattern that has
a potential to disconnect Soul from Body.
High Tech as we call it is here to stay for a while.
It is a tradeoff. It has the potential to shorter
or lives and call in a need more than ever
for nature and her remedies that
hold us together and help us make wise
decisions.
I was on vapors yesterday when I left
the 21st Century Book Marketing Event,
the overwhelming and overwhelmingly successful
annual event co-hosted by Ariella Ford,
one of the most trusted name in Book Marketing
for me, and new ally Mike Koenigs.
I had heard of Mike Koenigs.
This was my first meeting with the 44 year old man
who is destined to help us all make a very beautiful
Enchanted Garden world.
Mike has his priorities in the right place.
His wife is Vivian Glick. Vivian is helping kids in Uganda,
and Mike made sure we at the
21st Century Book Marketing Event
saw a heart touching video.
I am going to help Vivian's project.
I already have projects that have caught
Keep The Beet's Media Star's attention.
She wants me to help out in this
African nation that has suffered many years
of Genocide. Lucy Larom, the mom of Bavid Larom,
a teacher at SDSU, is very involved. Lucy has allies
who are friends with Vickie Butcker who heads
the Water for Africa project. Vickie and I go back
15 or more years. I do Kuwanza at the Butcher
home every New Year's Day. I first heard of
the conditions and remedies in Uganda from
the ally of Vickie's. My own personal project
that interests me in Africa is the Abuyadaya
Tribe of nearby Kenya. They do the most beautiful
Jewish music. They run the Good Peace Collective,
(check that name), a coop of Christians, Moslems,
and Jews who grow coffee and sell it to make ends meet.
I am not a coffee drinker, but for anyone who likes
