I first started making sauerkraut around 1979 after reading Ann Wigmore's book/s. Then after meeting Sally Fallon in '99 I expanded into fermenting other foods. I enjoy my own lacto- fermented products on a daily basis. If my house mates were more tolerant of the aromas during the fermentation process I would do a lot more fermenting!
