Abnormal
(Plant Your Dream!)

Abnormal by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Went through some photos last night. They touched me deeply. I am glad I was able to record what was in front of me. I apologize if I hurt or stole something from the moment to seize and freeze these moments, I see some eternal expressions in them.

June 2, 2010

I do not see the world the way
most people see the world.

That is why I like my Olympus Sp-57OUZ.
Through my lens, I can show the world what I see
and the way I see the world.

Sometimes I can do this through my poetry.

I am grateful I have been gifted with so much
time to break out of the box in my life.
It has cost a lot.

Many of us are stuck in the box.
We have made a sacrifice of our soul for trinkets.
Life is a game. Most of us settle for less.

The box is so very pretty. What is in the box
is beautiful, truly soul inspired and beautiful.

I woke up this morning with a lot of emotions
and some tears.

My finances like many of us are very low right now.
For me, they are low because I have not been taking care
of business.

For the last six months, I have been increasingly aware
of crisis in the world. I have been paying attention
to what the world has been asking. I am here to help.
The price is that many times I do not put myself first.
I would be more effective sitting in a room that had
no clutter. I am merely one generation forward from
my dad another public servant, who is basically a hoarder.

In the Jewish Tradition, there is a holiday called Passover
that celebrates People coming out of slavery. The story
is that the Angel of Death Passes Over the houses of the
those who have been enslaved. It passes by the house
of Moses, who in the Essene tradition is called the Law Bringer.

I like the Cecile B Demille version of the story, called
"The Ten Commandments." My mother died when I was 12,
but one of the my memories was going to see this movie
with my mother and sister in a theatre in Downtown L.A,
The City of Angels, where I was born.

That year may have been 1954. Years later, as a wild child,
I broke to the front of the lines at the Pan Pacific Auditorium
within walking distance of our apartment near where the
current Erewhon Health Food Store sits.

That evening was the opening night of a skating show.
I was right near the door and had an autograph book.
I got autographs both from Moses and Joshua.

I guess I have always had Prophet motives, like them.
I would do anything to free the imprisoned people of the world,
even if it meant kissing the Devil on the lips.

Many of us have kissed the Devil on the Lips for the wrong reasons.
That is why we are enslaved. It goes back to that Box.
We are so enamoured by how the box looks. We never open the box.
We never look deep, deep inside.

I want to thank you for allowing me to be an abnormal
person in the world.

Last night, in my striving to make ends meet, I started to go
through old photos.

Oh my God.

I really wasn't there.
I was doing my best to let the soul of the moment be captured.

To enter a sacred space with a camera is considered an intrusion
by some of us; yet I have to thank one of my favorite Rabbi's,
Stan Levy for being enough Hollywood that he has allowed me
to be present in the most Sacred of Spaces and allow the shutter
to shudder.

I am in tears this morning looking at some of those pictures.
I would not have remembered.

Once someone told me when she saw my photos
that I sacrificed, or stole the moment, for the sake of
helping to remember eternity.

I am not sure if that is possible.

There are some people I know who so honor the moment
that they would not want its image to be captured.

They endear eternity by living so fully in the moment
that they would never take a photo of it.

I cannot say who is right.
I only know I have paid a price,
and some of the images I am paying for are here for you
to see.

Thank you.

Through my eyes,
I am recording the history of peace on earth,
a history of the earth and its human flowering.
Our renewed earth is the Enchanted Garden,
and you and I, Its Gardeners.

Leslie
