(My Quest for the Truth of Life, by Kerminator!)

Time? by kerminator .....

We all exist in some time or other... The real question is when either Kairos or Chronos occurs do you understand how to use each?

Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). The ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological or sequential time, the latter signifies a time in between, a moment of undetermined period of time in which something special happens. What the special something is depends on who is using the word. While chronos is quantitative, kairos has a qualitative nature.[1]

The time that most of us recognize and use each day is Chronos time, the measured time, as the hour, day, month or year; even a season...  This is how most all history has been written and recorded...  This is how most of the world sees their every day life!  There exist another dimension which is just as real yet almost totally unknown or understood by most people...  Kairos time also known as God's time!

Kairos time is experienced time, which is none recurring and not predictable, yet it flows.  Kairos time is quality time, not squandered yet it can be wasted, if one is not awake to the occurrence...

Lexically: chronos relates to motion, it is physical and can be measured!  Where as kairos means to know or understand the critical or special time when it occurs... Kairos refers to a specific period of time, such as a shift to a sense of Devine appointment or of a time of judgment...  These have proven to be pivotal or decisive periods; when the right thing was said or done... Or not!

"As we go through life, it behooves us to learn to recognize the supreme (kairos) moment when it occurs an then be bold enough to grasp it and make it part of out life!"    a True-ism

   See Ya,  Kermit
