We cleared part of the Meditation garden around a
Medicine Wheel. There were about eight of us working for an hour.
It was amazing the transformation we did.

Then, we sat in chairs around the circle and each talked about
the dreams we would root.

The theme of Talk Back Your Seeds is inspired
by the coming of July 4. Growing your own seed
is a statement of freedom. We will watch a fifteen minute
film called HOMEGROWN REVOLUTION,
a family in the city, An Urban Homestead.

This is an inspiration short film about
JULES DERVAIS in Pasadena who is growing much of his
vegetables and fruits as well as selling enough to local chefs.

The second theme, Ways we can each use less water,
Taking the 20 Gallon Water Challenge will be a time
when we can each help each other with ideas for being more mindful of
the water we use. Water in San Diego is now costing about twice as much
as it did a few months ago.

Numbers of local organic farmers cannot grow as much food as they would like.

What are some ideas you are doing to be more respectful of this precious
resource? i understand that only bout 5% of our water from the spout
is used for drinking. Most countries do not use drinking water for so many other uses.
What are some every day things we can do differently?

Last Friday at LIVE H20 in Long Beach, we prayed for rain
for Hopiland. The next day it rained here in San Diego and in Long
Beach, and for six hours in Hopiland.

We had some unusual drops of rain today here in our garden
following our Sacred Circle.

Please note and RSVP now for either the Wednesday night gatherings
or the July 29, 09 Last Sunday of the Month Gathering,
Plantyourdream@cox.net.

The gatherings are $10.00 each or trading gardening.

Love from Leslie, Your Enchanted Gardener.
