San Diego is the kickoff city for the National Recession Outreach Aid and Assistance effort known as the Recession Help Expo, organized by local San Diego startup- Here To Help Us. Launched in January as a national Recession Survival resources Web Portal, activities have evolved into production of a national assistance tour to include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Washington DC-- all by the end of the year.
Helping Businesses is one category amongst fourteen others where help, aid, assistance and information is being provided-- completely for free, for anyone who attends.
The business help category will feature business coaching services, new federal small business financing-including 0 percent 6 year loans for distressed businesses, business opportunities, support for new business start-ups, franchise information and network marketing businesses, small business vendor qualification for major utilities through the Public Utilities Commission, Success and Goal achievement motivation from World famous Keynote Speaker Brian Tracy, and Strategic CEO current guidance from business guru Lanny Goodman, and Bart Allen Berry speaking about the resurgence of American Entrepreneurialism. Also present will be the San Deigo Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The all day free event is being held this Sunday at the downtown embarcadero Holiday Inn On The Bay at 1355 North Harbor Drive, and will also feature live music, 32 free recession help workshops, government and leader speeches on the recession and presentation of the Recession Fighter Awards at 1:00pm.
This all day free recession outreach event is designed to help everyone affected by the recession from those looking for work and needing to qualify for assistance programs to retirees, wounded investors, homeowners and families. Free admission for kids on the Star of India and other San Diego Maritime Museum historic ships is included so the entire family can come down to San Diego's beautiful waterfront and get some help in this recession.
