This was a heavy day in many ways.
It is the passage from the 49th day
on the Journey of Awakening I have
been doing. Tonight we passed
into the 50th Day--the Harvest Festival
called Shavuot, in the Jewish Mystical
Tradition. At this time, community forms
at Sinai. The twelve tribes come together
to Receive. It would normally be a happy
time for me, but not right now tonight.
This flower has always represented community.
Two of this cacti decided to bloom this year,
the first a few weeks ago, and then this one
today. It will last likely through tomorrow.
I felt hungry for community,
nothing could fill the bill for me tonight.
I might have gone to the Orthodox Synagogue
at the corner, but I thought that would likely be
more trigger that than fulfillment.
I quenched some of my lonliness and sadness
by making this Art.
I went through some notebooks
and ordered some old biz cards, while tossing out
others.
I discovered some very old cards of significant
companions on the Journey who touched
my life in some way.
So I honored those cards and notes,
sending out some emails across Cyberspace.
It is a good time to connect.

I never met the man, but his teachings
were all over the place during the few months
I lived there.
That was where I met trance channelers of the first time...
The one that became very well know whose wife
asks that I not mention his name on my blog,
and a few others. I do not remember the last name
right now of LYNN MARTIN. He was a sweet man.

Apology to WADO KOSAKA
I had the most beautiful photos of this man.
I believe I threw most of them out last summer during
my cleanup.
I just was googling his card and came upon this
on the website of MASARU OMOTO.
I believe I will be meeting Mr. OMOTO
for the first time this June in Long Beach
around the Summer Solstice.

"Here is the reason why I invited her. I received an e-mail from William Arntz, the director of the movie, “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” in the early December. He wrote, “I came home and found a very interesting book in my bag as I was unpacking. The book is called ‘Takenouchi Document’. I can’t remember who gave it to me but I am very interested in this book. Some of my friends are interested in it too. Will you send some more copies?”
As soon as I read his message, I remembered a name card I received from one of the staffs at the festival on November 27th. It was Ms. Nobuyo Kosaka’s name card. “She must have given the book to Will” I thought and had it confirmed by my secretary. This went on while I was in Los Angeles so I made an appointment to see her as soon as I came back to Japan.
The Takenouchi Document is an ancient historical document that had been passed on in the Takenouchi family who was the overseer of Kousou Koutai Shrine. I have had different occasions for the past eight years to get to know this document that many people say is a forgery. Mr. Kosaka was one of the most famous researchers of the Takenouchi Document. His book was first published in 1995 and has been pretty popular. (The book I have is the 10th edition, printed in July of 2000). I have had an interview with Mr. Kosaka that was published as an article in the magazine Hado about two years ago. He had asked me then to introduce him to a foreign publisher to print the English version of his book. However, he passed away just about two months after that meeting and that plan was forgotten.
Today, I told Mrs. Kosaka about that plan but she did not know anything about it. She was not very involved with her husband’s work while he was alive. She only got involved after her husband passed away when she realized that she was the one that had to keep her husband’s work going. So it was only recently that the English version of the book was completed.
I feel that what we had planned is finally taking shape and I would like to help out in any way possible. I have a feeling that there will be more interesting developments concerning this book as times time goes on. I will be mentioning them on this site as things develop."

Still Mercury Retrograde.
I am in that energy.
Overcast day.
typical of Shavuot.
The sister of the cactus bloomed today.
Two blooms.
I was going through papers.
Went out to take one of the old Olympus C5050's to
Kirk Camera Repair. I got lost. Circled back and
found Princess View. Lots of memories along some
of these streets.
I went to see if I could turn in that camera to give to
a friend.
The part needed is
Shutter Release Assembly
Part # VC888700.
I did not get a YES on the article I gave
away Memorial Day to write. Tons of energy into
that. I will pursue that more, but not right now.
Sad feelings.
This is the beginning of Shavuot tonight.
It has been a high time in various years.
Tonight I do not feel a community experience,
not even a connection in this world with one
who I would like to hear from.
I am tired.
Best to light a Candle and accept it is a different kind of year.
I want to call someone.
Legs are not circulation well.
EG Mobile needs to go into the shop
to check a yellow light on.
I called Mike.
I can't open the engine compartment.
I must have banged it and it is bent blocking
the engine opening.
Oh, I was telling S in my head that this is not
a time to connect with a new sweetheart.
not now in Mercury Retrograde.
Maybe I need to accept that for me too--
as far as connecting to friends I would like to
hear from.
Check on that part.
I can do that.
Then rest.

The Harvest Days called
Shavuot start tonight.
I want to make a special day of this,
and us it to clear some things in my room.
I am going to light a candle.
There is one small thing I need to do first
before i can focus on this.
Will play music and light a candle.
