This week was indeed very full of stressors and as such my Aunt has decided to pay me an early visit. My body said enough is enough. Take a weekend off. This coming week is my last week of nursing school. I'm happy about it for a number of reasons. Number one is that I will be able to take care of myself the way I want...that is with exercise, rawfoods, juicing, etc. Thankfully, my immune system held up under the stressors of life, bitten by ticks, chronic sinus assaults, long hours, depression, etc. God did indeed bless me. I knew as long as I did one healthy or two healthy things (walking and taking a multivitamin) that I'd be okay.
I held to the inner belief that school would be over and that I'd be able to enjoy the income that brings more rawfoods into my life. During the summer raw isn't a problem with the abundance of garden greens. Now I eat healthier cooked items like my FIL's homemade apple sauce with oatmeal. Better than white bread with PBJ. Sometimes you do things like that because it's better than going hungry and getting resentful. I had the happy memories of going to Whole Foods with my sister whenever I visited with her and mom in NY. I also remembered the memories of running down to the rawfood restaurant near Memorial Sloan Kettering to get food.
I am so happy and grateful I hung in there through the whole year. LPN school is rough enough but with family financial trouble and a mother with cancer it was dang near impossible. Well now I know NOTHING IS TRULY IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.
I'd be so happy and grateful to be able to fast for a day or two and wash myself out with a colonic cleanse and go to bikram yoga after graduation. Can't wait to get back to my goal of leading LA DOLCE VIDA as I see it.
BTW, my mother's cancer has not grown and she's climbing mountains and being like THomas Merton, a buddhist catholic. Okay whatever works and keeps her cancer free! LOL My sister is a buddhist and my mother likes to go with her to meditate. I am a roman catholic also but I also like to research meditation, yoga and lately a little LOA prosperity stuff. Whatever works.
I look forward to blogging more often now that school is over. Talk to you guys soon.
