I MADE IT!!! I MADE IT!!! I MADE IT!!!

I survived a whole 28 days (and a half) completely without solid nourishment!
How amazing is that! Who would've believed? I have just achieved something everyone I know is in awe of. Even myself. And, to be completely honest, it wasn't that hard afterall!

What I forgot to mention from last week, though, was that on Friday (that psychedelic day) I actually had a bowel movement, by myself! And not only one, but also a second one when I got home! It was so awesome! It must have been some dead and sickly matter, and after getting it out of me I felt so much better. At the fancy graduation party I definitely felt more radiant, I was so proud of expelling unnecessary toxic gunk!
I didn't have the time and energy to have an enema during that weekend no matter how I wished, so I took the time on Monday.

----------

Well, let's reflect upon last weekend then...

Well, Friday I had the very last entry exams. I realised the day before that since the exams would start at 8am sharp, my only option was to take the 5am bus. And to get to Helsinki at that time... impossible! But lucky, lucky me, a dear friend agreed for me to stay in her bed, although she already had her nephew staying over! How sweet was that! So I went to enjoy my Thursday evening sauna (this time I didn't feel as dizzy), and eventually got to bed around 11pm.

I woke up at 3.30am, ouch, but made it to the bus very well in time (I had reserved heaps of walking time, there was obviously no public transport at that time). I put on an eye mask (or however you call it) and earplugs, and managed to acquire a good anough snooze during the two-and-a-half hour ride. The exam itself didn't actually start until 0845, so no rush there, either. The exam was the easiest out of the four, for sure, but since I hadn't bothered to study the book too closely due to violently opposing the dogmatic norm of University teaching in Finland, I probably won't pass. But hey, life is life...

Afterwards I was expectedly tired so I just took the first bus home, reserved the whole three back seats to lay down, and took an even better nap when I got home. Then my friends wanted me to go hang out outside a local outdoor festival, so I went. It was a hard task to find them, though, and I had a lot to carry in my bag, so after a while I got so tired physically I just had to sit down by the sea for some 45 minutes and just chill, and read a book. I got a bit annoyed at my drunken friends on the phone, but realised it was because I was so exhausted, and let it go. In the end I had a nice time, and collected three big bagfuls of recyclable bottles and cans from the festival, which returned to the store brought me some €10. Yay!

Oh, and I seem to be in a relationship now... Totally unexpected, but not entirely disappointing ;)

On Saturday I watched my friends eat at a kebab restaurant, and had no problems enjoying my time. Only the salad I recommended to my friend looked tempting, but lately I haven't had any temptations for food or food ads I see - I couldn't really imagine putting those things in my mouth, no matter how lovely imagining the experience is.

Then I went home and had a very very long nap. I couldn't even hear my alarm go off! So I got to my friend's birtday party a bit late, but then again I didn't know anyone from there, so it was better to get in when people were sufficiently intoxicated to strike a conversation with a stranger like me. And I had a ball! In the end I ended up finding a couple of people I actually knew beforehand. And I also beat all the boys in sitting in the sauna! The place had to be cleared by 11pm (but obviously it took a bit longer to finish that), I helped out by filling myself two bags of bottles and cans, and took the last bus home at 11.30. Then I changed into warm gear (the wind was surprisingly chilly), and went for an impressive two-hour bike ride around town to collect even more bottles and cans. I got a bagful, heaps of exercise, and even managed to bump into a mate of mine accidentally in front of a pub. I got home around 2am, pleased, and got to bed probably around 3.

In the morning I slept in, layed in the sun in my livingroom finishing the raw book, took the bottles to the store and got over €12 for that (altogether I've made some €40 now, out of nowhere - it's amazing what desperate people can do!), and then got a funny sort of an energy rush since I knew I'd have to have my bedroom cleared by Thursday. So far I've slept on my sofa in the living room, since the empty bedroom felt so isolated, so I've used the space for storing my unpacked boxes in. But now I sorted it all out, and it took me a good 6 hours or so doing it. I finished just about at 8pm, and was knackered! The funny thing was, I felt thirsty only for water that day! I had a bottle of juice in parts when I needed more energy, but all in all I drank a couple of litres of Molkosan water on Sunday! I listened to dance music all along to keep me going. I think without that and the desperate need to clean up was the key in keeping me so motivated - a friend will bring me a washing machine and a two-person bed on Thursday or Friday when I'll be away, and they need to have as much room available as possible. Those items are mine to keep only for a year, though, since the owner will be on a Peace Keeper mission, but it's a sweet deal for a poor girl.

I went to bed relatively early, before 9pm, and felt quite rested in the morning.

----------

Waking up to the knowledge that I can actually start munching today awoke no special emotions in me. I felt glee, for sure, but nothing groundbreaking.

I didn't feel hungry before around 10.30 or 11am, and that's when I left the other two girls to answer all girls, and happily munched away on some cucumber mash (defrosted pulp leftovers from my last week's juicing). I couldn't have had more than three or four small forkfuls after feeling full. Great!

So far I've also had two small containers of peach mash, too, and three bottles of water. It's great to see I have a healthy appetite for water again. I've experienced something that reminds me of a beginning headache, but my moods have been just fine today. The only thing is that I feel bulky again! I haven't even eaten that much, but I can still feel and see that my tummy's bulged - both over the stomach and the usual bulge round the guts. Boohoo. I really hope it evens out on the raw diet, which I'm definitely going on for as long as I can. I'll also keep on having enemas - due to being on the festival from Thursday till Monday I won't be able to perform it for quite a few days, for my disappointment, but I'll just have to go on next week as well.

Inspired by a colleague I took my measurements today. I have been commented on having noticably lost weight, and I've definitely seen it around my waist. I still don't know my weight, though.

So these are the cm measures after the fast (with clothes on): 83,5-63,5-86.
Yep, I've lost a lot from my waist. But almost 10cm from my bust? It doesn't feel like that much... Maybe I've lost some extra from my back and sides, then, too? I've also lost a couple of centimeters from my hips, which was actually unexpected. But all in all, I'm very very happy with those numbers. I wish I could keep to those, and work on getting more fit with exercise. If that won't help with my tummy bulge, I'll honestly get upset and desperate, having tried everything but the raw diet long-term.

----------

I'll have to make this quick again, I'm leaving work early due to not having a lunch break to sell some more books and CDs, hopefully I'll get some more money out of them. The accounts department promised my final salary to arrive tomorrow. I really really hope so, since today I found out that I'll definitely host an Aussie mate this month - actually, this week! He'll land on Saturday, when I'm at the festival, and I'll be heaps busy at work during tomorrow and Wednesday sorting out remotely getting him to the festival, as well as sorting my own attendance at the same time. Yikes!

So two more days time to post, I might be able to write a little something on Thursday before we leave, and I'll probably be back here on... umm, Tuesday, post-day 9!
