What is Raking?

There have been times in my life
when I have been reported to say,
my trowel in my favorite gardening tool.
Next Sunday, I will say the same for a rake.
Tomorrow Sunday March 18, 07
is Soilmates Sacred Circle #6
at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
If you would like to garden with me, feel free
to RSVP at Plantyourdream@cox.net
or go ahead call me, 619.582.9669.
Last month we rained out, but
if it hadn't rained I imagine we would have had about
2.5 people who RSVP'd.
One great gardener committed to come.
San Diego had a great great dance event that day,
and how do you compare gardener with hopes for
a potential flowering relationship?
So tomorrow is Soilmates #6.
I am really looking forward to gardening from 1-4 and
then we will have a little Sacred Circle with between me and the Garden Angels.
Of course, you are welcome to enjoy
this event too, so give a call. I am really looking forward
to planting some Zapistista GE Free corn in an experimental Tire Garden.
Next weekend we have scheduled 100 Rakes for Health
out at the Newly opening Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa.
This will be Dr. Bernard Jensen's ( 1908-2001) 99th birthday.
You can read all about that in other Grapevine listings, or
go here:

The event is called 100 rakes for health.
Celebration Bernard Jensen's Birthday and the Opening of The Hidden Valley Retreat.
Maybe I better start at the beginning...
What is a rake?
A rake is a gardening tool.
A tool is something a person uses to extend their ability to do something.
A rake is a tool that can be used to put leaves in a pile.
Leaves are things that fall from trees.
Trees are something that grow on the earth.
The earth is a place where you and I live,
and one of the things that it is good to do here
is live here. Gardening is part of living here, or
was for most of the time that people have lived
here, so learning how to garden, enjoy trees, and rake up leaves
may be something you might like to experience.
Tomorrow you can learn a few things about how good it feels
to be in the sunshine, prepare a little tire garden, and plant some
GE Free corn.
There have been times in history when men and women have even raked
together, as will likely happen next Sunday
at the new Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa,
the old Dr. Bernard Jensen's Hidden Valley Health Ranch.

For those of you who like to dance with the opposite sex,
please be aware that Gardeners Make Better Lovers,
but that is a different story....
