excited and anxious
Can't Wait to Start!
Date: 6/21/2006 4:47:27 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2585 times I'm really anxious to start the juice fast. I'm so curious to see how many things will really feel better. Like my intermittent joint pain or my throat/ear pain that I think is a really swollen gland. Will my tongue coating clear up? My skin? I'm so tired of feeling run down and dragging around.
I don't intend to use any medicines either while on my fast, no aspirin or tylenol, no cold pills if my nose starts to run. I want my body to completely clean itself out unimpeded by artificial chemicals. I am so excited to begin!
I don't have my juicer yet, nor do I have money to go to the grocery store for fresh fruits and veggies - Not until the first week of July! I can't wait. I am taking my jewelry to a Farm & art Market in a nearby town on July 1st and the ladies who have organized the market are giving little seminars on juicing, natural foods and natural living - it is Christian based but I'm more interested in the information than the pedestal it comes from, I can't wait to talk to them about it and ask them for recipes and advice.
So, I think the things I will use to gauge my progress will be listed below. As of today...
Weight ~118
Face - 7 blemishes (plus one on my scalp)
Scalp - itchy and dry
Skin - Itchy and dry
Eyes - whitish showing red veins / dry
Throat - dry, scratchy, light cough
Nose - Clear / Uncongested
Other - Pain & lump in throat/ear, hurts to swallow. Knots in shoulder muscles, always tense, stomach ache.
I sound like a mess :)
This is a general description of myself on most normal days - it will be fun to see where this leads.
