Some Eternal things to ponder??

Our pathway is often joined by others who do not believe as we do...

Here it is...  This was a question put forth by a supposed Muslim believer!!

How do I convert to become a Christian from a Muslim?

Praying 5 times a day is giving me dreadful carpet burns on my head and bacon smells so good when its getting cooked at our local café that I really must give it a try.

Do I just ask a priest and start wearing a cross and thats me all set?

A) My answer...

None of the above...
The only real thing for you to do is to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Savior of Mankind, accept his death as your payment for all sins you have or will ever commit... Pray to accept his atonement and then forgive all those who have trespassed against you! This will open the way through the Grace of GOD to make you a new person in Christ...
There is not anything you can do to save yourself except accept Jesus and the forgiveness of GOD in your life...
The price was paid and now you just have to accept it... Then the Holy Spirit will come into your life and help direct you to become a Spirit Warrior; one who learns to help others and lives according to the guidelines of the holy scriptures...
That is it, no priest, or anyone else is needed...
Just you and GOD!!! May GOD bless you I pray!!

B) The Answer of an Islamic believer:

Praise be to Alla ah.

The punishment for apostasy (riddah) is well-known in Islaamic Sharee’ah. The one who leaves Islaam will be asked to repent by the Sharee’ah judge in an Islaamic country; if he does not repent and come back to the true religion, he will be killed as a kaafir and apostate, because of the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "Whoever changes his religion, kill him." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 3017).

It is well-known in Sharee’ah that the punishments (hudood) are not carried out on minors, because they have not yet reached the age of responsibility; but in the case of those who have reached the age of responsibility, the punishment (hadd) applies, without a doubt.

The person who knows the truth and believes in it, then turns his back on it, does not deserve to live. The punishment for apostasy is prescribed for the protection of the religion and as a deterrent to anyone who is thinking of leaving Islaam. There is no doubt that such a serious crime must be met with an equally weighty punishment. If the kuffaar do not give people the freedom to cross a red light, how can we give freedom to people to leave Islaam and disbelieve in Allaah when they want to?

It seems that the intention of the teacher mentioned in the question was to shock the students with news of this ruling, in order to mislead them from the way of Allaah. You must respond and explain to him and the other students as much as you can.

May Allaah make you and us bearers of His Message and defenders of His Sharee’ah.

Which system would you like to live under "A" or "B" ??  It sure seems like a lot of control in the "B" system... HUH!!  Never heard of any Christian killing someone who changed their mind about the faith...  Just another difference between the two religious views...

BTW: The Qua ran does state that non believers who refuse to convert be killed...  Is this something you can live with??  I think not!!

Think long and hard on this folks....
