I bought another copy of "The Future of Food" at Whole Foods
the other day. IT has an additional second disk about farmers
and action projects. I have not looked at it yet.
The above insert was in my original copy of this very important
Video that is now out for sale again.
The video helped Mendicino County outlaw GMO foods in their
area last year. Their is a new Pre-emp[tive law that will again
attempt to go through the legislature that again meets in January.
It's aim will be to Pre-empt citizen action forbidden local communities
from outlawing GMO foods.
I was listening to a report the other day where our President
was saying that it would be good to "passively' invite the
Iraqi's to redo their constitution to include other factions who are
now left out of the political process.
We are over there attempting to instill Democracy. At the same time,
we would like to short curcuit our local communities for taking
democratic action to defend their food supplies against GMO's.
The new regulations would change the CA seed laws making them
more standard and easier to govern...less diverse...
So...do we really know anything about Democracy...
government of the people, by the people, for the people?
I am sure it will all come to a head and work out for the good.
More and more of US are seeing what is going on.
