The game combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis into a fast-paced hybrid that can be played almost anywhere. It’s so simple that all you need are some good pickleball paddles and a plastic wiffle ball. Read on to find out the steps to get started with your own pickleball business. 

1. Decide on the Type of Pickleball Business You Want To Run

There are many different types of pickleball businesses you can choose to launch. While most are online stores that sell different types of equipment and apparel, there are many other ways to make money from this sport too. If you have an existing brick-and-mortar store, you can incorporate pickleball into your business by offering coaching classes, hosting tournaments and providing other pickleball-related services.

For example, if you own a sports store, you could host pickleball tournaments for children in your area to boost foot traffic in your store. Or, if you’re a fitness instructor, you could offer pickleball classes at your local gym to add this sport to your regular class schedule. 

2. Get the Right Equipment

The next step is to gather all the necessary equipment and supplies for your pickleball business. An app is also a great way to promote your pickleball business. An app can be used to provide customers with information about your products and services, as well as allow them to book appointments or classes directly from their mobile devices.
