Thank you, very much, for your kind words. But then, based on the comments I've read of yours on other blogs and based on your stories and thoughts I've read from your own blogs, it seems to me, that you are just a very kind man in general. The world needs as much care and kindness as it can get. Keep up the sweet words all around, they are so inspiring to everyone.
By the way, I've been reading your blog about your AT
(Applicant Trail} experiences. Walking the AT is one of my 100 things to do before I die. I'd love to know all your experiences, trials and errors, your learning situations, your highs and lows, what you were hoping to get out of hiking it, etc etc etc.
I believe you're the first and only person I've "met" who has actually walked some of it. You may already have the whole story up, I'm still looking and reading... but, if you don't, could I make a request and ask for the whole story?

Looking at life. we should see and notice that our experiences are based upon the
circumstances we encounter. While I have experienced a great amount of variety in life, the one thing that stands out is how and why we did whatever!
One person I met on the AT was "Just an Echo!", an older veteran who had actually done the AT over 12 times (WOW). Read my recent account on "My Unusual Road of Life" last week! April 2001.
I learned that Hiking is one easy way to be with nature, and experience the outdoors; plus being able to meet others on your pathway of life! I have Hiked or explored in Alaska, Bahamas, Iceland, Maui, Jamaica, Italy, Kenya, Cuba, Canada, Tunisia, Lebanon, Yeoman-Aden!
What you must do is decide that you can and will put out the effort doing whatever in life! This includes whatever experience you are granted across your God given existence!
Most of what people do in this life is tending to follow the world crowd. They are barbarically self-centered and not really loving their neighbors! Learn to love your neighbors, where ever and whom ever they are!
If we really want to become the person you were born to be - seek first seek the Kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you! Matt 6:33
** Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. But first seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
What are the signs of the Kingdom of God?
Its characteristics and values should be as follows:
faith.
the simplicity of a child.
unity.
belongs to those who suffer.
love God and love your neighbor.
honesty / truth.
humility.
joy in others' achievements.
wealth and ambition must be sacrificed.
