Joined the Navy @ 19 in 1961 and spent my deployment at sea dispatched on 3 Destroyers as a FTG3 = Fire Control Technician Working on radar, target acquisition {ship board weapons} Computers as well as electronic maintenance until 1967.

** Got Married in Aug 1966 to a beautiful smart woman, have been so for over 50 years!

Learned a lot about the world in general and saw many countries! It was one of the best things I could have done! Travel and gain hands on experience!

Employed as Electronic Engineering Technician with the USGS '67 until 1971 in Tampa. Worked with the NASA moon launch project preparing for the resulting mission in 1969. Helped design and build the assembly of a multi-channel Ground Truth monitor. These punched a 16 Channel Computer tape recording every hour, powered by battery with Solar cell charging! There were stations stations in FLA. Wored With NASA Cape Carnival Space base, during the Walk on the Moom. Also attended college part time.

Aug 1971 moved to Atlanta and became Electronic Switching Technician at Bell South facilities Atlanta. From there spent next 8 years employed as a Field Service Engineer for Several Large Corporations traveling over much of the USA and Europe! Worked with A B Dick with them when they developed the first Facsimile transmissions = '72 & '73.

Took a position as Field Engineer in the Electronics Electronic Controls division of Harnischfeger Corp - Milwaukee, Wis for 5 years. Worked on heavy Industrial plants world wide. Including , Nuke power plants, all type of major Assembly plants, Foundries, Steel Mills, Military plants, US Government Ships, Mines, Shipyards, Sea Board Material Handling, and even Off Shore Oil platforms!

Learned and was exposed to many serious real world situations and tests. If you take time you can meet and overcome most of the world's problem! Try to be a "DOER" not just an observer! Life is about using your God given intelligence!

Worked as an Electronic Tech for a couple of years in 2 different Film plants, then took job a Maintenance Supervisor in a Food Production plant and at a Hydraulic valve assembly plant,on Computer Controlled machines! Then transferred to US Agni-chemical In Bartow & FT Mead FL as plant electronic Controls maintenance.

Then in '81 took a Position with Emerson Industrial Controls, out of Santa Anna Cal as a Field Service Engineer with extensive travel for the next 20 years! Retired in 2002! Which included most key facilities in the world. Including NASA, many major plants and Financial Facilities, CIA, Military., EX= US Navel Oceanographic Center @ the John Stinnis Space Center in Mississippi. The last 12 years worked as a Technical Support Manager - Engineer assisting and supervising other Engineers in critical power systems!

Then took a position as Technical; Support Manager with Uptronix in Woodstock GA. Worked out of the HQ traveling to assist in start ups and troubleshooting of major UPS - Uninterruptible Power Supplies @ key major installations and facilities in the nation.

- Retied in 2017! Having traveled to over twenty countries and have worked in 38 states! With over 2 million Air miles, and a Million windshield miles, plus about 175,000 Nautical miles at sea.

So if you want to succeed DO something and stay focused by learning as you go! Some of my best advice!
