Burst of Creativity
August brought two eclipses--one lunar, one solar, and lots of shifts and a big HUGE burst of creative art.

Seems all I was doing this past month of August was ART! I was working on a Birthday "book" as well as my 2017 book. Then I decided to do two more books and after working on them for two days, I hated them, so I scrapped them. Instead, I started another one which I hope I will like better.
Interesting ...we have been feeding the quail that had several families; there is hardly any water anywhere around here, so have been putting out water for them as well. Then we found out a lot of feral cats were also drinking the water, but also having a lot of fun dining on the quail. So we decided to move the cats to a better location.
Weeks later, we saw a little kitten in the yard. Really small and young, too young to be away from its mother. We waited to see if the mother would show up, but the kitten kept appearing alone and after a couple of days we decided it would die if we didn't do something, So we caught it and tamed it. It was so young, it tamed really fast. We have been training it to be a "cat"... chasing, getting food and water, and bathroom use.
We have had the kitten now for several weeks and it is very bonded with us and wants a lot of attention. The kitten likes to get petted and has the run of the house, climbs on the beds and curls up next to us. It is a little male kitten and has some unique grey, brown, and black markings. He has an "M" shaped marking on his forehead, so we named him "Max." There is a debate if we should keep him or give Max to somebody. Interesting!
Max the kitten. Note the "M" marking on his forehead.
