Amatra Barbara May is a many decades friend. We first met in the 80's when she was a teaching assistant at the original Barry Green IPSB - The International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego.
I was a student there and even in my early years experiencing a natural tendency toward healing touch, Amatra would trade body work with me,
I absorbed many sensitivities about touch through feeling her work. She's a master healer, and extraordinary human being. While she lived in San Diego, she helped launch A number of healing schools.
Over the years she lived in my home no less than three times,
She was at the first Enchanted Garden installation at the international Mandala conference, One of the birth places where the holistic health movement was born in the early 80s.
She now lives in Hawaii.
In early 80s, I organized with the help of a number of others, one the largest spring equinox celebration in the new age city history.
When I pass the torch for the event that continued a number of years, amatra please write their lending compassion, support, and friendship.

She is truly one of my lifetime and best friends, through the times that we would raise our fist up to the heavens and say, "what for?" And the good times and celebrating Thanksgiving together,
I love Amatra Barbara May.
