The real role of the church today!
** The role of the modern Christian Church today is not to be involved in the political arena - but it is to preach and teach the Truth of the Word of God to the people everywhere! **
Date: 5/23/2014 9:26:10 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1526 times The real strength of the Christian Church is in the preaching of the whole Gospel of Christ... It is God's Truthful words that convict the hearts of people to repent then the political arena will reflect it!
The reason there are so many laws promoting immorality right now is because the True Church of Christ is not doing it's job! We are not preaching the whole truth of God to the people! Therefore the hearts of the people have been stolen by the evil one...
This is how and why the people lose their focus of the truth of God in their lives, they use the political process to pass laws which favour their sin nature!
This is why Homosexual and Abortion or such vile things are being passed into law..
The Christian Church in the US would do far more to change the nation by simply immersing ourselves completely into preaching and teaching the Whole Gospel of Christ; than by putting ourselves into the political process or even locking ourselves into prayer closets and begging for revival! !
God has told us {Christian} to go forth and preach the full Gospel. Then as the people receive the truth; the truth will set them free... This is where our strength lies, because God has directed us to influence our nation by ministering His Word!
The Word of Almighty God is the number one most powerful element of the modern day Christian Church! It is through the proclamation and administration of the power of the Word of God that the Church has God's Power and Blessings!
** I am Not Ashamed of the Gospel Romans 1:16 - 17
16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
So instead of boldly sharing God's Truth, many Christians have retreated to their pray closets.. They have become afraid to say anything in from of people lest they are branded " politically incorrect "...
Many in the Christian Church today have stopped doing much of anything waiting on God to Act! But the problem is Jesus finished the work over 2000 years ago so therefore we are in fact waiting for God to act when He has told us what to do already! Preach the Word!
** It pleased God by foolishness of preaching {the Gospel} to save them that believe. - 1 Corinthians 1:21
You can not be born again without hearing the Word of God! As believer today, learn to emphasize His Word. Be bold in sharing the truth with everyone who will listen.. Do not let politics or ineffective " prayer " shrink our responsibility to preach the Gospel; yet be a faithful, consistent, and powerful witness of our Lord Jesus Christ!
