The day after the Natural Product Expo West each year, you are invited to join me for an organic wheatgrass juice or smoothie Noon, at Jamba Juice in Downtown Disney. Parking is free if you stay just a few hours, and admission to Downtown Disney is also free.
INTRO
Today is January 23, 2014. There is no rain in sight. There was moisture in the air the last two nights. We live on Montezuma Mesa, near San Diego State University. My spirit feels in pieces today, part of me drawn into energies at home that are calling for my attention. It is a time of re-invention.
Today, I am pulling together my energies for the National Heirloom Expo West. My departure day for Anaheim is March 5. I check into the Disney Super 8 that night and stay through March 10.
Gratefully, a really big chunk of my funding is in for the year. I do not have that on my agenda.
Today I would like to finalize my Press Credentials, but before I do that I need to get call my spirit home through working with images.

It is 10:51 am. I have been re-establishing Altars on my desk and getting rid of clutter.
I am still in the aura of Kachora, the 100 year old Yaqui. I attended his birthday party January 18. He is a reminder of where my spirit finds its home, in respect for the plants.

As more than 500 leaders gathered to respond to the need to protect our Foods from GMO Proliferation, 18 months before the 2012 election, our leaders told their stories of recent events in Washington on a GMO Panel at the Natural Product Expo West. In the end the USDA and Biotech had its way with us allowing GMO's in our crops. I brought alfalfa seeds to the event, and these were honored by Walt Robb, Co CEO of WFM and placed on stage. On the same day, in Fukushima, Mother Earth brought a Tsunami. Our world may never be the same. The actions of Monsanto, The approach to manage our energy through nuclear approaches, they are symptoms of a greater imbalance inside ourselves. We have lost communion with the Sacred Nature of our Seeds.

Leslie Goldman at home at the Enchanted Garden, age 65. The rocking chair I am sitting in is currently broken. I look forward to its repair, sitting in it, in my old age, once I get there, and telling stories to kids about how through the people I knew, loved, and with who I planted dreams, we brought in 1000 years of peace that they are now enjoying. The book in the foreground is called The Ultimate Gardener: The Best Experts’ Advice for Cultivating a Magnificent Garden with Photos and Stories. (HCI, 2009) It credits me with six photos. The dedication says, "“To Leslie Goldman, The Enchanted Gardener, for planting dreams and seeds of inspiration. To all those who garden and for those who dream to have a garden one day.”
Leslie Goldman “Your Enchanted Gardener,” is a ceremonialist and full time blogger. His Plant Your Dream blog with more than 8.8 million page views shares inspired graphics and ideas from his book and Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza. He is a long time Food Activist working with local organic farmers in San Diego, and in 2012-2013 has been a teacher at the National Heirloom Expo in Santa Rosa, a gathering place for Seed Freedom advocates. His introduction to health principles came with training with Dr. Bernard Jensen, an elder in the national healing arts, and Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, co-founder of Rancho La Puerta, who introduced him to a foundation in health. Leslie's current work is dedicated to Food Reform in America and Winning Back Our Sacred Seeds. Through popularizing seeing ancient wheat and heirloom seeds as teachers, he aims to cultivate a grassroots movement that outgrows GMOs and returns our beat with nature. Robert Muller, then U.N. Assistant Secretary General, gave Leslie a U.N. Peace Medal in 1983 for the work he would do in his lifetime. That work continues.
