Looking at a new antidote to balance too much computer use
Felt uplifted visiting with Malia Kirby at the Blue Poppy booth at the Pacific Symposium. The presentation of the organic teas and the tea invited and captured my imagination. I would like this tea set for our Enchanted Garden Pantry in our community house. I woke up this morning, realizing that my birthday is next Tuesday, November 19. I know what I want: one of these Tea sets!
I spend endless hours at the computer. Getting into the act of making tea would be a refreshing shift.
I am going to follow up with Malia. She introduced me to her husband, Shawn, who was also at the booth. I met the new President of Blue Poppy and we took a photo together. We planted some Seed Dreams.

I have been researching the history of Blue Poppy Enterprises. This history is inspiring. Bob Flaws and Honora Lee Wolff, two elders in the brief American History of Traditional Chinese Medicine, began this company.
This morning I planted some sprouted seeds of Morning Glories. I want to see if I have some Blue Poppy Seeds.

Yixing teaware is considered the finest way to brew tea by connoisseurs the world over. For thousands of years yixing clay has been revered for its ability to enhance the flavor and experience of tea. The porous nature of the clay allows each vessel to absorb minute amounts of tea each time it is used. I spent time at this year's Pacific Symposium with the some of the staff of Blue Poppy, and planted seeds with the new President. We took a photo. I was drawn to the tea set and the beautiful presentation of organic teas.
