June 3, 2011 and she told me to put one sage leaf in my drinking water per day and another sage leaf every night for tea.

Cecilia gave me some fresh white sage that she picked herself from the mountains of California (she has a permit to do so; it is ILLEGAL to take white sage from State Parks in California without a permit). I really appreciate that Mr. Vega has a sacred relationship with the sage and that he harvests it by hand from private land (rather than poaching it illegally from State Parks as I've heard that some people do).

The sage Mr. Vega sent me arrived today; I am very pleased to report that he put the dried sage leaves directly into the re-used cardboard mailing box and did not use any plastic packaging materials!! This appeals greatly to my eco-heart.
