HUFFINGTON POST COMMENTS ON
GABRIELLE GIFFORD
Democracy is shedding a tear
of the harm caused to Rep Barielle Gifford
God has likely intervened. She was an eloquent
spokeswoman for her beliefs before this
tragedy, and God Willing, she will live to
again speak her truth.
This harm done to this innocent woman
whose desired to serve her country needs to remain
in the public eye for a long time. We need to get to the bottom
of this crime. No simple answer will do here.
We need to not only look at the surface issues,
but explore the depths of the political climate
that has brought this stark winter event up to view.
It is important to not only lay blame here.
Iti s important to do more than bring science,
and police strategy to bear here, we need to bring
in our poets, our sociologists, and inteview
tose who are in political unrest and stress
and ask them why they think this happened.
There are millions in our nation now who feel voiceless.
There are millions who feel the government was not listening.
There were millions who feel the senators and reprsentatives
are living in their own isolated world out of touch with public
opinion.
I read one comment on
the Huffington Post.
Jesus Wept.
That is the shortest line in the Bible.
Truly Jesus is weeping for all of us,
as well as Buddha, and Moses.
We have co-created a political climate that is now uhealthy,
and each person who carries a gun, and each person who
is against gun carrying needs to search their hearts for solutions.
Washington was already isolated before this ciime.
The tragedy of Gabrielle Gilford was that she laid her life
on the line to keep talking, to expose her life and limb
in a very insane climate of despair, and this is the result.
I will write more on this later
on the new Plant Your Dream Blog...
