Freedom of Choice? What causes so many people to want to control or micro manage others? It is to the point where these so called authorities, have usurped each person's God given "Freedom of Choice"

Just this morning, after a series of frustrating events of yesterday; I thought to add this blog entry! Why is it that some people seem to make decisions for others in life, yet through many of these ways they leave only a predetermined choice? It all goes back the lack of thought or concern for others… It is a somewhat selfish attitude which does not take into account an opposite or neutral answer to any situation offered or put forth! Many of you may be familiar a situation where there is not any “ escape” clause or action allowed, because the author did not consider it necessary... Happens quite often! Having worked with technical things for years, one of my associates who writes our software, stated correctly; there should always be an “escape” or quit selection in any software program, because there will be some unforeseeable events or conditions which the author did not allow for! So rather than hang up the user in a program activity or venue, just include an escape or quit button… HUH! Another is where the designer or application engineer will set conditions, which are the default, yet do not always desired or useful in all cases, therefore this cause the user to try to disable or ignore that selection thus causing unwanted alarms or useless records on report logs… If they would only set up these conditions so all these options or settings can be on or off; then the user can choose to enable the ones desired! So simple... This would save a lot of energy and frustration! It would also make for more happy customers or users, because it is so user friendly! The above scenario is common in many if not all the laws and rules passed by governments and many of the Corporations who issue such directives… It all starts with a simple idea or a response to some condition, which someone thinks needs attention! {Generally the condition will take care of itself if left alone} But can we let people decide for themselves, what may be best in their lives? Noooo, someone will always think they have a better idea or else they think the actual people involved are just too stupid to know better! What most of these controlling people do not understand is that ” No Law or Rule will cause anyone to do anything!” The best it can do is allow or cause them to think on or consider the action they embark on! It kind of like a fence, it can detour or limit some actives, but it will nor stop anyone who really, really wants to go over, under, through, around, or otherwise just by pass it. Just look at all the prison breaks, or all the people who have gotten through all the great barriers in history, like the “Great Wall of China” , the “Berlin” wall, Castles, Forts and Walled Cities through out history! Yet. None have stood totally resolute! Of all the laws, or rules before mentioned, many are selectively obeyed through pressure or consequences… Either by fear or through punitive punishment and fines! Most are not obeyed by choice or desire on the part of the one(s) being directed! People do not always cross at the designated Crosswalks, or they will exit thru an Emergency Only door, or they will put something in their pocket or purse even though it is against the law to shop lift, or they will lie on the Wittiness Stand in court, even after taking an oath, just a few examples.... Therefore it all comes down to a freedom of choice on the part of those involved… This is what God directed when he gave every human a free agency to choose what they would do! Fear or the ole “Carrot on the Stick” does not endear anyone or really make people want to something, just look at there are laws everywhere against Bank Robbery or Murder, yet it still happens! Almighty God gave or allows us choice; while the Devil wants total (Robotic) control of mankind (Slavery)! So much of this comes back to why do so many people want to control your life, down to how the answer to a certain question, which gives them the desired result or sets up a certain desired action! Well this takes us back in a big circle to, how can they control you or your actions! A shame, but never the less true!
Why cause grief or pain for others when just giving them a choice will work wonders? It is so easy to just allow people the freed to fail on their own! It is really their choice anyway! By just showing or encouraging people in the right direction, you can allow them to make the a proper choice! With a proper attitude and some righteous instruction, many people can and will make the right choice! You really have to learn to accept the proper or right things in life if you are to ever enjoy or have a pleasant Eternity! It is a matter of Choice, when will you start to try and make better choices? It is up to you alone! BTW: This is not to say that some rules do or can help make some interaction smoother; like some traffic laws, some social rules of etiquette , many of the common sense observations as to the proper treatment of others, like First Aid, Bathing and one’s appearance, etc… We are not against some guiding rules and regulations, just don't try to micro manage everyone's life minute to minute, from the Capital or corporate offices! People were given the freedom to fail or succeed, let them choose! Ask yourself " Who are you any way, to decide for them or me? "
