Experimenting with
copying some things off
my old Powerbook that had

Both old Powerbooks are not working.
The hinge issue that is reported

in the lost of info...
I see a black screen, but hear something.

The earlier model will not fire up.
This is new.

Address book info?
Let it go?

I welcome you sharing these with me.

From Something I Have to SayÓ, Fall 1985:

The message of this book is hope.
You and I have a future in successful relationship with our selves and others. We can turn a present pain into a creative moment.
The challenge to each of us is to remain open, to keep moving through the natural seasons of human relationship, to not die to love,
to not die because we are stuck, hurt, and canÕt conceive we can be freed from feelings of separat
ion and loss.

This book is intended to serve you who are in a committed friendship,
or a marriage, or other kind of loving partnership. This book is intended
is help accept the pay-off in personal growth that comes when
a relationship has turned into a broken dream. We can each turn that broken dream into a pathway that guides us toward deep inner wisdom.
We can turn our wounds into wombs for new growth.

When two people bond, the shape of their relationship will naturally shift. Look to the garden. You will see plants that flower and fruit in a continuous life-making endeavor. The form is constantly shifting.

The world asks that we continue to explore new forms in our ways of whole being, and whole being in relationship.

The world asks that we continue to be open, not insular, that we continue to expand our loving capacity.

A goal of this book is to serve you in the rediscovery of words
and word play as a valuable tool in your natural development.

Writing a poem is an act of completion.
It is an act of remembering petals on the flower of whole being.

The petals on the flower of whole being
can be identified as
the petal of senses,
the petal of feelings,
the petal of thoughts,
and the petal of insight.
and the petal of awareness.

The goal is to open. The goal is to allow the life forces to flow between
the petals of our being.

This book is an invitation to allow the petals to come
together through Word play. You can put your life together.
You can move from upset to new creation in your life.
You can write a poem as you let go of judgment,
and simple write.

These are some of the steps I have found that work:

Commit to take time to feel the pain, as well as the joy of life.
DonÕt eat down your feelings with food, unless you are eating
a good feeling you want to store in your body memory.

If you drug a feeling,
it is on ho
ld and will come to haunt you
as an earthquake.
The universe now asks that we each stop living
as earth quakes waiting to happen.

Stop. Listen, Write down what you hear inside
simply. Anchor your feelings in senses, memories,
objects that come into your mind.
If you feel strongly, your writing will always be good.

Sleep as a fireman with pen and paper at your side.
When you feel fire, WRITE! DonÕt wait. DonÕt stop.

Listen. Add a word. Add more. Add more. Let your feelings
flow out on paper.

Surrender to your experience.
IT will explode into a flowering.
Be true to living your life as a poem. Your poem
will heal your separateness. It will heal the breaks
between the petals of your life, and you will open.

The past is our ri
'ch personal history. It is the experience
that puts wrinkles of wisdom in our eyes, that our
precious Soul might shine through and reinspire a
broken world. The world is constantly recreating itself
through the value we each can receive through taking
the lessons we can learn to heart.

Be the flower you are.
There is something you have to say.

Fall, 1985

This poem expresses Word play therapy:

For what am I being punished?
Who did I kill that I should be forced
to have this pain?
I feel a shortage of information
from your end of our relationship
so I can better put one and one together.
I feel locked up in some prison
with only a visitation a week.
This is not what I am used to with you.
I donÕt know how quick I can adjust
to the new arrangement within me
without
&screaming through this process.
Yet, in the next moment of your absence
and this confession,
something strange and wonderful
is happening inside me.
There are new inner voices I am hearing,
some yours, some others.
They all say trust the specialness of this
experience too with you.
Then a light comes on and now I donÕt feel
IÕm being punished and I donÕt feel alone.
IÕm excited.
Something creative is going on
building to a high pitch.
Walls are falling. IÕm feeling free.
Another torrent of love
beams through me for you.
I feel good intentions from you.
How amazing to feel this new space
in me and that life has just been born.

Fun and Flolic with Leslie Goldman

Getting into the spi
rit of my birthday--November 19. I will be sharing some poetry and frolic with friends on the theme of "Gardeners Make Better Lovers," at..

I haven't fully consummated/celebrated my New England trip, October 15-28th. I broke my left knee a few days before my trip to New England. My main focus this past couple weeks has been walking around on crutches and attempting to reintegrate after two back to back conferences and coming home. I am still on crutches but feel good enough to drive up to LA Tuesday, or Wendesday. Have been using a lot of accupuncture, chinese herbs, Nikken magnets, Alkamine calcium
, Kenshin garlic Katsu supplements, and more. My orthopedic doctor is amazed how fast I am healing...almost fully mended in about a month.

Here are some comments from the Plant Your Dream presentation at the International Feng Shui/Ecology Conference....Keep me in mind if you know a gathering that would appreciate the Enchanted Garden message. I feel the time is ripe for each of us to learn what to do with our SEEDS...the earth thrives as we
plant our dreams...and Gardeners make better lovers!.

> Dear James Allyn Moser,
I want to send you my personal reccomendation to put Leslie Goldman --The Enchanted Gardener --on the program for 99. When I learned that Bill Spear had invited Leslie to speak at his Feng Shui and Ecology Conference in October, I offered to help and accompany him not only because I live nearby -- but I wondered how Leslie would manage without his "Enchanted Garden Mobile " available to him for his "aromatherapy garden of earthly delights".
Well. Never underestimate Leslie's perseverence and initiative!.
Despite the fact that he had broken a knee bone and was in a leg brace, he still managed to charm a local lady gardener and get the props he needed for his presentation. Beyond that he was brillant!. He can weave story,
personal poetry, charisma, audience participation, change of focus,
theart and soul better than any presenter I've seen. He has so much personal material he plucked the very heartstrings of everyone in the group. His sensitivity, wit and humor had the audience between tears and laughter.
I met and have become friends with Leslie since the first conference. I
have seen his expression of feng shui develop into a wonderful metaphor
--"Plant your Seed Dreams in Your Feng Shui Garden." He makes a wonderful conference presenter.

Dear James,

I am an architect working on my own in just about the middle of
Ireland. A few weeks ago I went on an adventure to America, leaving my
two young daughters in their mums loving hands.

The journey was to attend the Feng Shui Ecology conference in Lenox.
When I first received the itinery all the subjects due for exploring
seemed so engrossing, with the possible exception of Leslie GoldmanÕs
'Plant your Dream'. It sounded ok, but I have always been a little
nervous and distant from the plant world. On the evening of the lecture
I was feeling as if I didn't really want to be there. The previous few
days had been a storm of new learning, ideas, concepts and emot
Hions and
I didn't want to be distracted etc.

Nothing could have prepared me for the impact of leslieÕs love and
enthusiasm. He completely brought the spirit of his world alive and
accessible. He made it with tears of joy and delight, and I seemed to
be on the edge of tears throughout. The flood gates opened at the close
of his sharing, as he invited all to 'plant their dreams', share with
the group and to begin again renewed.

The conference changed me in a way I am still trying to assess, and I
suspect only time will show. LeslieÕs gift was one of opening my heart,
and it hasn't closed since.i understand you may be considering him for the next FS conference, andas I believe they say in America..."go for it!"
The best of luck with the event, please send me some info on it when you
get a moment.

Peace,
michael Rice
