The true meaning..
It is Greek to me! Many words tend to lose meaning in the translations of life!

One of the things we need to notice is what was the root meaning of the words used...
In the western world, like it or not, many of the terms and root words come from the Greek... The Greek language if you study it has many ways to say things... Which allows for many forms of expression... Which is very good, because it allows the speaker or writer several ways to express ideas...
One of the least understood items about the Greek language is that many of their verbs are an expression of on going action... A better way of example would be to know that these verbs continue on and on, endless...
Unfortunately in English and many of the western languages the translation often misses the point of the original Greek... When we read many of the verbs and other expressed action words from the original Greek, the intended meaning is lost...
Some of these translated words that tend to lose the on going meaning from the original Greek; include Salvation, Grace, Love, and Forgiveness...
