The seed of the Crystal Cradle comes to life as a community is gathering to manifest practical plans that will bring it from a dream into reality.
The Boardway family approached me at the end of January to tell me they were starting a monthly program on Voice America talking about the journey with the new children, and they were asking me to support them by sponsoring a banner and a voice commercial about the Crystal Cradle. These would be featured twice in each broadcast and then be present on the archived programs for listeners around the world. They would also interview me on one of the programs. The Crystal Cradle on Tu B'Shvat.
Today is the Jewish festival of Tu B’Shevat, the New Year of the Trees, and thus is significant for me in relation to manifesting the Crystal Cradle. The avocado tree I planted in my garden on 1/1/2014 with the intention of having the Crystal Cradle grow as the tree grows, is doing well. As my plant reminder, the avocado tree prompted me to send copies of the blog to friends. I have received encouraging responses from several friends. Supporting the Arrival and Thrival of the New Children.
As a speech and language pathologist , working for most of my professional life with language delayed preschoolers, I could not help but notice, that in 2003 my caseload doubled in one year and I was seeing several children with a pattern of communication behavior that I had not seen before.
