My symptoms (sore throat, fatigue, arthritis, muscle pain, dry lips) started after a course of strong antibiotic .Last year ,(after many antibiotics because of the sore throat) my M.D took from my throat a throat swab and the lab found out that my throat was full with Candida so he put me to Diflucan and Dactarin for a month. White spots? Sounds like a classic case of strep throat. If that is the case, your throat will keep getting sorer and sorer. I’m only speaking for myself. But if I had strep throat I’d get treatment for it. I hate to mention the word, but strep throat usually responds very well to antibiotic treatment. Perhaps someone on this board can suggest a way to treat this thing without resorting to antibiotics. I have to admit that I have a particular adversion to sore throats. Because I found that the place where candida is stronger in my case is my throat, and I have sore throat all the time, just from candida (checked)...I’m sure it’s from candida, had tests and found candida in throat. Hi Susan: Another thing you might try for sore throat, is 2 dropperfuls of Echinacea Plus, 5 times per day in a glass of water or juice. And take 1 to 4 dropperfuls of Super Tonic, and 2 to 4 dropperfuls of Throat & Tonsil Tonic in a glass of water, gargle with this for one minute and then swallow it all. jhan, in reference to the throat issue here, it is weird, when my throat hurts, if I put a cough drop in my mouth and leave it there for a long time or use one after another my throat quits hurting, that is what I meant, it even quits after I drink something cold. but after my throat dries out for a while it begins hurting again , that is what i meant. So before finding it’s from having candida 3 months agoe, I had symptoms like mucus in throat, sore throat most of the time, white coated tongue, I had to clear my throat very often and spit, and I also had nose blocked sometimes. It feels like I’ve got a loogey stuck in my throat. I keep trying to swallow to get it down but it doesn’t go down. I felt like my throat was swollen a little-but no pain so I looked in my throat with a flash light and in the back of my throat on one side is a very white ball that is just sticking to my throat. Its about the size of a pearl. I tried to swallow and drink water but it was still there, after I ate lunch it’s somewhat smaller in size and different shaped (thinner). Is this candida or some type of infection or cyst or what? anyone have any ideas. Its really far back so I cant touch it. Hi: I just recently got over the flu with a bad sore throat. The last couple of nights, however, I’ve noticed that I have so much of what feels like drainage in my throat it’s pitiful. Well I’ve been on candida diet for 4 months, and I can say that I feel much better then when I started, I almost don’t feel any bowel problems lately... but there is one thing that constantly bothers me, especially lately, and that is my throat, and my nose... I suspect it’s difficult to tell as this is flu season. I started OP about two weeks ago (with excellent results); but I will say I too suffered from a sore throat for the first week. However, my daughter was home sick from school at the time and one of her symptoms was a sore throat, so I do not know the origin of mine. I treated my sore throat by gargling with colloidal silver; I also tried putting droppers of tobasco on it and I ate fresh minced garlic by the spoonful (with a water chaser). Hi - I have a sore throat from a cold today, so I can only imagine how miserable it’s been dealing with throat issues for months!! In reading this forum I’ve read of several women with thyroid issues caused by Mirena. Also a few women with swollen throats. you may want to try to search ”mirena and thyroid or throat” on the search bar in the upper right corner of the forum screen - quite a bit comes up. (it took me a while to notice there was a search function for the forum!
