Swollen Lymph nodes in your neck do not necessarily indicate that you have oral herpes. The only way to confirm if you have oral herpes is if you get an oral cold sore and then to go and get it swabbed and tested. Your genital herpes may be either HSV 1 or 2, they will tell you when you get your results. Oral herpes can also be either HSV 1 pr 2, although the most common form of oral herpes in HSV 1. Cold sores are caused by herpes, which is a virus that can cause flu-like symptoms when you get outbreaks (sores). If they are cold sores, you probably have type 1 hsv (herpes simplex virus) which is usually associated with oral herpes but can also cause genital herpes if spread to the genitals. Thanks for your reply. I went to see my doctor today. He too was pretty sure that it’s herpes, but he thinks it’s strange that the herpes is spread over my body (not in one group, on one place). He said that herpes normally doesn’t act that way and that it’s very unlikely that I infected myself from my lips/nose to the other parts of my body. He also said that he couldn’t tell if it’s genital herpes or herpes zoster and that it’s useless to test if it’s herpes type 1 or 2. Actually, shingles is caused by the member of the herpes family called herpes zoster. It has no connection to the Herpes Papilloma Virus, HPV. I agree with the advice to get an active outbreak swabbed for, preferably an PCR analysis or perhaps a culture to determine if it’s shingles or herpes simplex. The most effective treatment for either is to use one of the available antivirals, acyclovir, valtrex or famvir. They’re all very safe and have dosages for both shingles and HSV. 4,358 hits

I suggest using Colloidal Silver for your herpes problem. Colloidal Silver kills all bacteria, virus & fungus safely and without side effects. Apply Colloidal Silver topically to your herpes breakouts. You can make a CS Salve by mixing it with aloe vera. ( or spray it on your breakouts) Also take CS internally to fight the herpes virus. I suggest 20ppm Colloidal Silver. If it is not available locally, you can get a generator to make your own. CS is better than antibiotics to kill off bacteria & virus. Could you tell the difference between them? There are 8 different human herpes viruses. And something like 20 in the animal kingdom. Human herpes viruses are: Herpes simplex 1 responsible for oral herpes. Herpes simplex 2 responsible for genital herpes. Human herpes virus 3 (varicella zoster) responsible for chicken pox and shingles.
