I’m not convinced that that nutritionist has the right scoop. I go through stages, eat a lot of chocolate for a while, then no chocolate for a long time. I have the dark circles all the time - no matter whether I am ingesting chocolate or not. It may be something that’s found in chocolate that is also found in other things that is causing the dark circles. I have also heard that dark circles are related to kidney function/issues. My dark circles may lighten up a little bit but nothing dramatic. I just kepted reading dark circles relate to adrenals and kidney. I browsed in the iodineforum and found Newport’s adrenal drink mix using potassium chloride and celtic sea salt which are electrolytes. Hi there: They say that dark circles are a product of kidney disfunction. I’ve had dark circles all my life, and I believe they are genetic. Is kidney disfunction genetic too? Possibly. There are some cultures that have dark circles. I have not been able to rid myself of dark circles by just OPing. However, OPing has given me a host of other positive health benefits. dark circles under eyes may be caused from lack of sleep, inherit factor, too much salt in system Look at fingers palms toward you (see if you have any horizonal lines on the first digit(right behind nail)if you do, you need to catch up on lost sleep. If you want to try this, I would recommend trying on a very small area first. People HAVE reported skin irritation from topically applied lugol’s and the skin around your eyes is very thin and delicate. Personally, I would not. I would look into other potential reasons for dark circles. The fact is, with your fair complexion, I would imagine that ”dark circles” are somewhat normal for you. If the circles are darker than normal, I would look into why the blood is possibly pooling there, maybe you have circulatory problems. Use the CZ search box and search ”dark circles”... On the right (supraclavical) collar bone area is where I have the clogged lymph node and my right eyes dark circle is also puffy. Just my right eye, my left eye also has the dark circle but it is not puffy and I have no lumps in my left collar bone area. WoW!!! We are learing so much, GOD BLESS EVERYONE here and their families. I’ve only pulled 3 or 4 times but this morning my dark circles (which I always have to put concealer on) were noticeably lighter...unexpected improvement! Part of this could also be due to the coconut oil added to my diet. I always thought the dark circles were part of my sinus problems because they seemed to be worse when my sinuses hurt. This makes sense since when I experience ’die-off’ effects my dark circles always get worse and my eye muscles in general feel very strained. Yet, after die-off effects, I would think that the dark circles would improve. But perhaps it takes time for the skin colouration to change when it has been like this for a decade. Dark circles under eyes can signify MANY different things. I’ve read some good replies to this post, but the most plausible ones in my clinical experience are: - Poor kidney health, weak adrenal health. - Detox required (esp. with a history of prescribed or recreational drugs) - Allergies (I have seen may cases of dark circles clear up once the allergy was addressed) - Poor health in general, stress, nutritional deficiencies. To tell the truth- dark circles under ones eyes is actually a symptom of worms- Some may have worms and not have this symptom too- it all depends on each persons’ physical inherited weaknesses . Hi there, you sound very similar to me. I am 25 and have pale skin and I have dark circles and have been flushing for a few years. I really understand what you are saying I sympathise with you! I have found that flushing has improved them considerably as well as my general health. You say that you do not see any blue, purple, green, or red dilated blood vessels. You are one of the lucky few. Your dark circles are caused by too much pigment. Go see a cosmetic dermatologist and they will prescribe a bleaching cream. Something like Hydroquinone 4 %. Talk to them about what lasers they have to get rid of the pigment. Do your research on the dermatologist, and please invest in some one good. Do not trust your eyes to just any dermatologist.
