Found Worm In Scalp ..Help

Last week I pulled a pinkish-brown worm out of my Scalp !!! 3 years ago I had been told I had Fungus and have had build up of what I thought to be Really Hard Dandruff and Fungus, that I scrap off > IF I can. Last week I had tweezers trying to remove some of the Concrete like Scales and Pulled Out A Worm. It was maybe 3/4 inch long with 2 pointed twitching arms on each side > a total of 4 pointed arms (or what I will call arms ).. before I got that Pinkish-Brown part out tho I removed 3 small pieces of what looked like ''hairy leggs'' that were moving. I'm going Insane !!! Does ANYONE here know what this could have been ? And .. will a parasite Cleanse kill the worms if there is anymore under my Scalp ??
