I was out of work almost 18 months due to health problems and know what it means to be financially strapped. Instead of a prepared enema get a two quart enema bag. These look like old fashioned hot water bottles, they come with a plastic hose with a clamp attached and an enema nozzle. At Walmart they are less than $5.00, Walgreens should have similar prices. With this you can use it over and over again with a variety of solutions including warm salt water, lemon juice or vinegar, garlic, coffee and Epsom salt. Somewhere on Curezone there are some wonderful enema solution recipes. Try to avoid chemical laxatives. A fiber laxative works well for many people if they drink plenty of water. Metamuscil is popular, but most store formulas contain either Sugar or Aspartame. There is a product called something like Konysil that is pure fiber, but cost $12-15 dollars a jar. A bottle of 250 mg magnesium oxide tablets gives you a good cleanse for $3-5 dollars. Start with four tablets and work your way up until you get a good bowel movement. (It may be watery if too much mag. oxide is used). On the herbal shelf you can usually find Cascara Sagrada, a mild herbal laxative. Do not use this or Senna for more than a week to avoid becoming dependent on it. Aloe Vera juice is another good bowel cleanser you can find at many stores. Cayenne, garlic and alfalfa all are used in various colon cleansing formulas. Educate yourself and learn all you can about supplements. Learn the key ingredients of expensive formulas and cleanses. You can often find good substitutes at your local drugstore that will get you started.
