both forums are about biblical christianity. and most of the people in both forums seek to understand the bible correctly. this forum is more for support, things all can agree on or agree to discuss, and is mainstream in its tone. it seems more fundamental protestant than anything but i have not seen catholics confronted either. pretty much established denominations. the debate forum doesnt have the same restrictions as here and does get dissenters and debunkers. if an arguement for or against certain denominations is what you see, the debate forum would be the place. if you want to share or read testimonies, personal meditations and abbreviated statements of beliefs, the support forum is here for those things. they of course overlap in function, but if things get too contentious here, then it needs to be taken up in the debate forum instead.

from my own point of view, the very fact that there are so many denominations strongly implies that somebody is wrong, but then arent we all or we wouldnt need a savior!? its the process, endurance, and the end result of coming to a knowledge of the truth and changing who we are that counts. if it doesnt change us on the inside, it is not the effectual word of god.
