here is how i did it

i was hopelessly depressed and anxious.

first, i accepted what my plight was. then i searched for something i could do to improve my situation that i knew i could succeed at. it didnt matter how small a thing, it just had to be something i could A - do without failure and B - keep doing it the rest of my life.

for example, since what you are taking into your body is a problem for you, you could choose to improve SOMETHING about what you take in without focusing on a bunch of donts or the fact that your diet is a total wreck or what not.

you could decide to drink only distilled water and not worry about the eating part. if that is too much, ween yourself off of soda or whatever by just doing one glass of water a day. could you keep drinking one glass of water a day for the rest of your life? sure you could. after you are comfortable and secure in that, go to two glasses. then you can build up to only drinking water and drinking one half your body weight in ounces per day. that is perfect. add a quarter tspn of Seasalt per quart of water you drink and you will be hydrated for the first time in your life, probably. then you can work on foods. instead of focusing on what you cant or shouldnt have, focus on changing the quality of your diet or how you eat it. add something good and it will take the place of something bad. go organic or eat mostly raw. go for percentages at first and then work your way up. deep breathing exercises, walking instead of driving. walk an extra five steps a day, next week ten, then twenty. youll be in the yard and down the street in no time!

just follow the two rules - a change you can make and one you can also keep doing! each success will build on the one before and make you eager for the next one. ask god to help you and he will. ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, do something different and get a different result than you have been.

love to you and godspeed.
