Lipoma (fatty tissue) under arm(pit)

I have had a lipoma in my underarm area for almost two years. It has been x-rayed several times and that is the report - lipoma. I have been using Ceragem (far infrared healing light) on that area for many months and think it might have reduced but minimally. Has anyone had a lipoma in this area and has anyone had success in reducing or eliminating it? Does anyone know the cause of lipomas! Thank you for any help...the doctor told me it could be removed but I might suffer from nerve damage. Tweet
