Product Review: Silvertron Elite

This generator was "Love at First Sight." See this video to appreciate what I will be reporting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOKnp9Y54Ls

I had been studying all the available generators for a good 9 months before deciding on this model.

This is an all digital design with an LED Touch Screen display, powered by a tiny 9 volt power cube. The Elite Version 2 converts 9 volts into 28 volts and supplies a digitally set constant current to the electrodes. Current can be set from 1 to 15 milliamps in 1 ma steps. I love the built in voltmeter, milliammeter and progress display. As production continues, I can see the voltage to the electrodes slowly drop from 28 down to about 9 volts. as the current slowly rises to the maximum that was set in "Set MA," where the current remains constant at the preset limit until the Finished Alarm beeps. Although the large 1 ounce bar allows for a high 15 milliamp setting for speed, I am actually using only 2 milliamps to help insure nanometer particle sizes.
Silvertron says, “Can make 1 quart of true Colloidal Silver (silver nanoparticles) in 60 minutes with the standard electrodes provided. For those wanting faster production, 1 quart can be made in 20 minutes with the optional 1 ounce bar"

The cost was $360 including the 1 ounce silver bar solidly riveted to a 12 gauge silver wire.

This is more expensive than other generators. However we get a lot for our money. A TOP SHELF PREMIUM digital design, high quality components, and best of all a support message board LOADED with tips, techniques, documents and rapid support for technical questions. This message board is available to everyone whether you buy a product or not.

Another great feature is that it saves all the settings, even when powered off. So once I have set the PPM, current & size of the water container, I need only press START on the next run. While running, I can press suspend, then restart. I have been using it to create 20 or 30ppm ionic silver. I don't plan on using the higher ppm settings of 40, 80, 100, 160, 240, 320.

The manual and message board include instructions on how to convert ionic silver into "True Colloidal" particle silver, something else I don't plan to do. I plan to follow Steve Barwick's advice to use Ionic Silver.

I discovered an undocumented feature. It tests the water before starting and if the water as BAD (full of minerals), it won't start. Current jumps to max & voltage drops to zero.

I looked at the relatively high price as pocket change because it will be supplying a lifetime of Colloidal Silver for myself, family & friends.

Bottom line, I have to rate this unit as 5 stars, on design, ease of use, pride of ownership and customer support.

If I discover anything new, I'll add to this thread,

Best to all,
Grizz
