Dr. Jerry Tennant's iodine therapy for hypothyroidism

Has anyone heard of Dr. Jerry Tennant and his book Healing is Voltage? Very basically, he says that disease is the result of low voltage in the body (cells, organs, etc.). If I remember correctly, low voltage is caused by bad nutrition, toxic chemicals, mercury fillings and root canals. Many people have hypothyroidism largely as a result of fluoride in-take. Lugol's Iodine helps enormously to bring the body back into balance.
