Appendicitis and Dientamoeba.fragilis: Any link?

Here a study about acute appendicitis which is always acute ( Infection cause???). It is a case study of a patient shedding Dientamoeba.fragilis and came to emergency with Appendicitis. I belive that it must be a cause as all the people I know that had Appendicitis got it sudenly. The treatment of appendicitis is a butsher treatment rather than a logical treatment.
