Pink Eye/ Conjunctivitis & Homeopathic Success
My little angel picked up the blasted pink eye at preschool because people brought their kids to school with pink eye which is so annoying!
Hi, just though I'd let everyone know I just had some success against my 5 year old's pink eye/conjunctivitis with "Similasan Pink Eye Relief" Homeopathic Drops, and also an internal 30C homeopathic pellets in the little blue bottle with the twist top that dispenses them one at a time into the cap. I threw away the bottle today so sorry I don't have the name.
Anyway, yesterday I took him to the pediatrician because he woke up with massive amounts of discharge that dried sealing his eyes shut. He had it for Sat, Sun, Mon not too bad, but this day I decided to go in it was really getting worse and not better. So she said that due to the ton of discharge it might have turned bacterial (pink eye) but that if it didn't have a lot of discharge that it was probably just viral/conjunctivitis. For conjunctivitis they just let the kids ride it out, but for pink she could prescribe drops, which she did.
So instead of using the prescription, I marched accross the street to a health food store and picked up the two items. He took a few pellets a couple hours apart. Then I dropped the drops on his lids when he was sleeping and it seeped into his eye that way. I know this method works because I tested it on myself one time and it actually does seep in even though the eyes are shut. You try getting a five year old to let you drop stuff in his eye!
So anyway, the next morning (today) his eyes were not crusted shut! And there was some white in them instead of all pink. And there was not any discharge throughout the day, just minor sleepies in the corner of his eyes once.
So I deem this a success! Thanks homeopathic!
Ingredients of Similasan: Homeopathic Belladona 6X, Euphrasia 6x, Hepar Sulphuris12x, in a base of borate buffer, purified water, silver sulphate, sodium nitrate.
I almost returned the item to the store because it had the preservative sodium nitrate in it then I thought to myself " that is going to kill the bacteria" and though I am usually very strict about this, I thought "anything to kill this eye infection for my little guy!" And it worked!
