Re: Excessive hairloss & my TSH results

I want to thank everyone who took time to reply to my poss. I am looking into all the advices people have made.

I do take 3 tbsp. of coconut oil everyday now. I notice I feel really great, energized when I take the cocout oil.

I just got results of my blood work.
It says my T4 is 1.1
My TSH is 0.2

My doc said my TSH (0.2) is high, she said it is weird. I'm confused, because this seems I might be Hyper instead of Hypo? I only started taking thyroid medication 5 days prior to being tested. I have been taking the Modifilan for a month. (Doctor doesn't know what Modifilan is) But she told me to keep taking my 150 mcg synthroid for 1 month (as long as I don't feel palpitations), so that we can test my blood again next month and see how things work out, and where to go from there.

I asked her what my T3 was....she said she doesn't check people's T3 who are taking synthroid..... But I had told her I was off my meds for about a year and a half, she must've forgot...

I have heard good things about the Armour someone mentioned above. However, it is not an option for me due to religious reasons.

But doesn't 0.2 for a TSH seem like I might be Hyper instead of Hypo??... I don't know this is confusing.
