Fistulous tract (gum pimple)--how to heal?

Hello everyone,

I have had a fistulous tract (gum pimple) for a while and I want to find out if there is any natural way to heal it.

I have observed that it gets worse (bigger, sometimes painful) when I eat Sugar foods, so I have stopped eating sugar. Although the pimple has been very small for quite a while, it is still there, and there is still a bit of redness around it (though no pain).

I have read that it is a symptom of a tooth (or root) infection and so one needs to go to the dentist in order to get a root canal. I consider root canals dangerous unless when performed by certain very skilled professionals, who at the moment I do not have the possibility of accessing--though I might in the future, so if anyone can recommend a good dentist that knows how to perform a root canal so that there are not any bad consequences please let me know.

Please let me know if you have managed to heal such a "gum pimple" or if you have any knowledge of how to heal them. I already have a "clean" diet and take probiotics. I do not have any other health problems, and have never had an allergy, so I consider my immune system to be in good shape.

Thank you and I look forward to your advice.
