Ignoring trolls is one thing, and there may not be an easy answer to personal attacks on your character, but how long do you allow someone to bang your head against a brick wall before you realize it hurts? AND allow them to keep on doing it?

There comes a point where a stand has to be made, and a show of solidarity needs to be made against lies, defamation, character assassination, and so on....

There is also the question of the trolls intention of spreading misinformation which more junior members maybe influenced by, which of course defeats the purpose of Curezone: "Educating instead of Medicating".

This IS a democratic forum, but all members should also be able to demonstrate their willingness to show a sense of decorum and a standard of behavior which is acceptable in a civilized debate or discussion. The trolls have not complied with any of these standards whatsoever by sinking to the lowest depths of abuse.

They should be banned each time they rear their ugly heads, unless they can demonstrate a degree of behavioural and moral metamorphosis which is acceptable to all.
