Re: tingling hands and legs - can be a Celiac disease?
well, if you do have CD, that is just the tip of the iceburg so I would suggest seeing a naturopathic doctor if you haven't already. They best way to tell is by going on a diet (it is totally though) unless you are for some reason concerned to have the diagnosis- if you want the diagnosis you can't start a diet until after the testing) I've been on the diet for over five years. at some point you'll get sick of it, and realize there is something else going on in your body such as dysbiosis, candida, parasites, liver problems, etc. maybe also check out the
parasite and
Candida Forum s.
as for the tingling...here is one idea (note, that I am NOT a doctor, just study alternative medicine and live it). b12! Your body can not absorb b12 first if you do not have sufficient stomach acid. second you need the right bacteria in your intestines. So, putting two and two together- celeics need probiotics too- perhaps your body has become deficient in b12. don't bother getting a test for b12 though because it is not accurate (your body also make a form of b12 in the colon that is not usable, but shows up on the test). long term b12 def. can mimic neurological disorders and anemia.
also omega threes may be depleted.
