Yes. And this is why libertarians believe in a LIMITED government not NO government. ;) Government should be reserved to simply protecting freedom of life and liberty.

you are also correct that Ron Paul does not support open boarders. I take issue with him on this becasue I do support open boarders. Ron Paul is not perfect but he is the closest to a mainstream libertarian candidate I have seen in my lifetime. I will still be voting for him.

You are incorrect that most libertarians do not support open boarders. Libertarianism is a popular term right now and many reforming republicans are calling themselves libertarians. They still hang on to some old dogmas like military and boarders. Old habbits die hard. I personally would not call somebody a libertarian if they are not consistent in their liberty views. To call yourself libertarian you have to be pro-open boarders.

According to Britannica.com, a fifth column refers to any clandestine group or faction of subversive agents who attempt to undermine a nation's solidarity.

Who came up with the phrase, and what's with the columns? Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), originally coined the term. As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his "fifth column," intent on undermining the loyalist government from within.
