An Introduction A short intro of a new person to all of the cleanses. Perhaps two months ago I stumbled across this site. I like to think of it as karma. I do not use that term lightly as I studied with Buddhist monks for many years in Korea in both martial arts and meditation. This recent discovery has led me down a new path...a path I have been searching for for quite some time. I am a single father, with an eight-year old son and a six-year old daughter. I have had my kids since they were five and three. No worries however, as it was for the best and I have adapted. However, since I have taken total control of my children, my life, as you can expect, has taken a dramatic turn. Needless to say, I have a whole new respect for single mothers. The last few years, I have indulged in many bad habits, and exacerbated many old ones. I quit smoking two years ago because of my kids. I have always enjoyed drinking beer and now that I reside in Germany, my consumption level has increased. Go figure. I believe that a certain level of depression has taken hold of me as well as a sense that what the hell...I'm divorced so who do I need to impress, if that makes sense. However, it has got to a point that I realize it is time to get back control of my life. I have already started two cleanses, which I will post about next, but I felt a need to put some things out there prior to the details. I hope and trust some will follow this and interact with me. Already I have had some amazing results just in the week since I started my cleanses. Check back from time to time and as the Buddha said... What we think, we become.
