More Stuff my Brain Spit out

I hope that I am able to give everyone who reads this some good insights into the life of a person going through a Cleanse and a Fast. I wont lie to you all, I am a little nervous about doing this. HECK I am a lot nervous. The one thing that freaks me out the most is the time I am with family and friends. Do I tell them what I am doing??? Do I keep it a secret??? The consenses I have come up with is that I am going to keep this to myself. I know that I probaly should tell my Family and stuff, but My family is a BUNCH of ENABLERS who will give me every excuse in the book as to Why I should not be doing this cleanse and fast. I just dont need that aggrivation.
We all have people in our lives who want the best for us, yet they are the ones who throw the biggest monkey wrenches in our plans to lose weight. My grandmother is the biggest. She is the greatest Is 83 years young, walks three miles a day, and plays 2 rounds of golf a week. She is also the first person in the family to tell you to drop some weight, but as she is telling me this she is handing me a big plate of Pasta and meat Sauce. GOD LOVE THOSE ITALIAN GRANDMA'S.....LOL
I actually think that in order to be successful on this journey I have to limit my social entanglements. Not engagements, ENTANGLEMENTS. I am calling them that becasue if I am in a social setting someone will ask why I am not eating and then I might slip and tell them and then the FLOOD GATES will open. QUESTION after QUESTION. It is a very trying situation to be in and one that I want to avoid if I can. On the flip side if I am succesful and I am able to drop the 50-60 pounds that I want. People will also come up to me and ask me HOW DID YOU DROP ALL THAT WEIGHT and then when I tell them how I did it. They other side of the issue comes up. THAT IS NOT HEALTHY, YOU WILL PUT THE WEIGHT RIGHT BACK ON PLUS MORE, ARE YOU CRAZY......It really is a no win situation, but I persist. I think that most of us who are battling are weight are SKINNY people trying to break out. We just need the big Jump start to get us moving, I know it is about calories in and calories out, but in my past the calories seem to go in at a REALLY fast pace. I know that I have hand in that. Heck I have two hands in that, but once we all slim down and develop the proper balance, whatever that might be, WE CAN BE SUCCESSFUL.
I am going to start my Fast on the 31st of May When my Wife starts her program. Over the next week to 10 days I will fill everyone in on who we are, what we are doing for the cleanse, and anything else I can think of to share with you all. Till tomorrow
