Day 27.....end of day Still detoxing, but feel good. Well, I slept great after taking a sleeping pill (I never do that, but I just couldn't sleep). But, I woke up with a headache and feeling dizzy. I'm down 24 pounds. I haven't seen this weight in 5 years. I skin brushed, took a detox bath, shaved legs, showered, and got ready for my niece's baby shower. I still have this dry cough, dry mouth, sore throat, and mild headache. I have decided that this so-called cold, it's also detox. Because my hubby is now fine with no symptoms in sight after 2 days and I'm going on day 6!! So it must be detox symptoms!! After the baby shower my fil gave me a great compliment on how I'm looking. Now let me tell you about my fil, he don't give many compliments, and when he does, you know he means it. That made me feel really good. Another relative of my husbands commented on how I looked thinner. After the shower I went for a 2 mile walk. And it's the best time ever since starting this fast: 29:40 min. I did jog 5 times; normally I only jog 4 times. And when I say jog, I can only jog about 1/8 of a mile or less. I'm still about 50 pounds over weight, so it's still a bit tough for me. 3 more days to go! This has been an awesome journey. Not that it's done, but this part of it is done. Now's the hard part, controlling my eating. I've got such a great start, I know I can do it!! "Don't be fooled into thinking you are alone on your journey. You're not.
