Day 17.....morning WooHoo! It's an awesome day! Went to bed last night and was talking to hubby about my Easter dilemma. And come to find out, I was wrong!! I thought Easter was on the 9th, but it's on the 16th!! So I'm ok!! I won't mess up my 30 day fast!! WooHoo! While I was skin brushing this morning I noticed that my lower legs were swollen a bit; edema. So THAT'S why I haven't lost weight, I'm gaining it in my legs! And I think it's because I haven't been drinking enough water. So, today is an all water fast. Yup! Actually, I don't feel like fixing juice anyway, so it'll give me a break. Now, why does my body want to hang on to water so much? There must be a reason. You know, I've been so uptight about how I'm going to do after the fast. I was thinking about it again this morning. It's because I haven't made a commitment to what I'm going to do after the fast. I want to give in to food and eat what my taste buds want. But, then I'll just gain all the weight back along with all the progress I've made with detoxing and healing my body. So that's it, I'm afraid to commit and mess up. Because I've done it soooooo many times. That's life. I have to learn to get right back to it when I mess up, instead of waiting weeks. Yup, I'm a procrastinator. As you can tell, I'm feeling much better this morning!! Yipee!! I was a bit groggy at first, but getting better every hour. I skin brushed, my dishes are done, I'm dressed and it's just 8am! The sun is shining (partly sunny), it's suppose to be 55*, and I'll be going for my walk this morning around 11am. I can't wait!! I want to get out there and walk! My dog, Jedi, loves it too. Gosh, I'm so glad that I'm feeling better!! Keep it up you all! You can do it! "The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself.
