Day 102 and the fast may be over...
Hunger has returned...
Date: 5/4/2006 11:38:02 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 4588 times The last couple of days I have been experiencing what I believe is hunger. It's a dull hunger that goes away when I drink something BUT you shouldn't have any hunger at all during a fast. It should go away for good and once it comes back you know your body is telling you that you're done.
With my longest fast (145 days) I experienced and unmistakable hunger. A huge, loud hunger pang that wasn't going away. So, this time is a little different, but none the less, I believe I may be done. I've also started going to the bathroom on my own, no lax tea or enemas.
I'm nervous because it's been so long since I've eaten. I want to take things very slow and plan to eat raw for a few months. Funny thing is everyone, including my husband wants to take me out to dinner! What do you eat at restaruants when you're eating raw, except salad? I like salad, but for every time I eat out will get boring. :)
I'm going to continue the fast today so I can prep for coming off of it. Sort of plan what I'll be eating the first couple of weeks. I'd love to hear about others coming off their fasts and how things went with their diets.
